How much longer we will kneel before this crime?
Now it turns out that using a Filipina, trousers or a white coat makes us a perfect target for those protected by human rights (criminals), and I say protected because we can not do anything against them because it is violating their rights. At this point I wonder:
Where do the rights of doctors start?
Are not we free to do our job witout struggling with the fear of being hurto r in the worst case being killed?
What is this government doing about it? (Oh I forgot, passing more of rest another day and protecting our exemplary deputy Rabbé)
Will PDH protect us someday?
Where is the College of Physicians?
Does the AEU support the students of the Faculty of Medical Sciences?
It is true that external and internal are still not collegial but future colleagues, many times I have told you that we must unite and now more so. Coordinémonos and make a manifestation of white coats and black ribbons, as an association we are. Let us not be intimidated, but we will fall into chaos, where we will puppets nothing else. Do not wait for victims to take action there.
On the other hand I applaud the decision of the Dean Dr. Mario Herrera to protect students. But we need to unite. All universities, people of Guatemala. Remember that not only doctors use white coats. Patria us all.
And you’re willing to kneel?
