Today I want to mention a date as important for Russia as Independence Day, and it caught my attention the way the celebration has changed since 1990 to date…
How was the celebration before?
(1990)
June 12 is the national day of Russia. On this day in the year 1990 was proclaimed the Independence declaration of Russia.
This day is a holiday, proclaimed by the government as a day of celebration.
How is the celebration NOW?
(2017)
In the year 2017 more than 200,000 Russian citizens in more than 200 Russian cities on this day came out to the streets with Russian flags demanding to end corruption of Putin’s dictatorship.
They just walked in the streets and shouted phrases like:
“Russia – without Putin; Russia – will be free. “
More than 2,000 of these citizens were captured in an extremely violent way by police and military on this day, many of them were tortured and beaten.
Among everybody, Alexei Navalny, Alexander Maltsev and other protest leaders were captured.
They are still in prisons. You can see, how police and military captured people in this video.
More than two thousand citizens were captured in a single day. Many of them await prison years for proclaiming the words:
“Russia will be free; Russia without Putin. “
That’s how the day of Russia was celebrated this year.
It seems that Putin is approaching his end with his own hands.
Nobody will forget this cruelty.
